SNIPER HIDER
Combat proven worldwide since 2010, the in-service Sniper Hider Range delivers signature management solutions for snipers, sharpshooters and operators on today’s battlespace. Screw fitted onto the objective lens, before exposure to the target, these devices offer maximum concealability to the operator by defeating traditional light signature, along with specialised Laser Filters designed to defeat all anti-sniper observation devices typically operating in a passive and pulse modes. Designed and built in the UK in cooperation with Davromatic Precision Engineering. Each is assembled from aircraft grade anodised aluminium or cerakoted to the user’s choice including NiR Reflective Gen II coating.
IN SERVICE MODELS, VARIANTS & AVAILABLE SIGHT FORMATS:
The Sniper Hider was introduced to the MOD in 2010 after deficiencies were found with the existing sun shades and ARDs on combat operations. In 2014 it was issued as part of the CES for the L115A4 upgrade. In 2019 after trials with the USMC the Mk1 LFU was developed. In 2022 the Mk4 entered service with the MOD along with the Sniper Hider, Mk2 ARD and Adjustable CT Polarising Filter. In 2024 trials in the US led to the new Mk5 LFU being chosen for service by some units within SOCOM.
Available Sight Formats:
Currently the range fits all the popular and current service optics including these ‘in service’ variants:
Mk4 LFU Set issued to MoD - Sniper Hider, Mk4 LFU, ARD and CT Polarising Filter.

sniper ghillie
MULTI TERRAIN PATTERN (MTP) LIGHTWEIGHT SNIPER GHILLIE SHROUD SET
Upon retiring from a full career, with over 15 years spent sniping, we wanted to improve the in-service hessian ghillie shrouds being currently used after a good friend was badly burnt wearing one.
The synthetic strings are a great alternative as they don’t gain weight when wet, won’t rot and do offer a better fire resistance than stripped down hessian/burlap. They are quickly attached using a knot hook and a full shroud could be built -flash to bang - in 8 hours. The built weight is around 1.5kg.
The great advantage with the strings too is that they can be removed by loosening the knot and the colours can be tailored to the area/environment of operations by using the different coloured threads.

sniper wind finder
The Sniper Wind Finder, this is a lightweight, robust and effective device that offers control of the near wind during target engagement. The Wind Finder provides constant windage information to the shooter in both direction (value) and strength (speed) thereby increasing the hit probability over the traditional pointing and observation methods. It can give wind speeds from 5 -20 MPH and shows them in four recognised wind speeds; Gentle, Moderate, Fresh and Strong.
