who we are

how it started

Sniper Solutions International was started by Frank Fletcher 10 years ago. Frank served a full career of 24 years with The Parachute Regiment. Half of his career as both a Sniper, Sniper Instructor and later as the Sniper Platoon Commander, completing 9 Operational Tours worldwide, including Northern Ireland, Africa, Balkans, Afghanistan & Iraq.

Retiring in 2006 he worked for 8 years with Accuracy International, both in the testing, demonstration and training of sniper rifles to the Military and Police.

Today Frank runs his own business – Sniper Solutions International, delivering consultancy, training and specialist sniper products to both the International Sniping Community and to the TV and Film Industry.

Sniper Solutions was founded in 2006 initially to provide specialist sniper training and to help increase the sniper’s close precision fire effectiveness by improving their shooting ability.

After 24 years’ service in the British Army, it was realised that much more could be done to assist snipers worldwide using skills learnt and refined on numerous operations across the globe.

Today we work closely with the sniping community in research and development and in particular in Signature Management and Countering Retro Reflection and Sniper Detection. We have a number of Counter Laser Filter Units that are in service with specialist units around the World. The Company can also supply a number of bespoke sniping tools such as the Wind Finder, The Sniper Obs and Data Folders and the MTP Lightweight Ghillie Shroud many of which are currently being used on operations.

Training is offered and provided to legitimate friendly military and law Enforcements Groups. Courses can vary, however most are centered around improving the effectiveness of the Unit and individual snipers marksmanship and shooting profile. In the last 3 years we have hosted and trained snipers from Malaysia, Bangladesh and Ukraine as well as providing ongoing assistance and support to UK MoD.

Consultancy has been provided to numerous sources including the TV and film industry, offering sniper related advice and expertise, including some controlled live firing instruction to credible companies and individuals. A recent example of this has been for Carnival Films for the latest “Day of the Jackal.”

As a current Shooter Trade Member of the National Rifle Association, and Range Conducting Officer qualified, limited live firing can and has been provided in the form of range days to support wounded ex-soldiers and Military charities. Sniper Solutions also provides the safe live firing element of the annual Sniper Symposium run by Omega Events.
